How much does the device cost?
In the USA, depending on the configuration, the device with probe starts at $7,495 plus any applicable taxes and shipping and handling. Volume discounts are available.

Is there any special pricing for NGOs and academic institutions?
Yes, contact us for more details.

Can the device be used even when there is no network connectivity?
Yes. Network connectivity is not required for device operation. However, the phone can use either WiFi or a cellular network to transmit patient data.

How do I transfer data from the device?
Data from the device can be transferred using WiFi, cellular, or USB sync to PC. A SIM card with the appropriate data plan is required to use the cellular network.

Do I have to buy a special phone to use the device?
No, we give you a complete system that consists of a phone, probe and our software pre-installed on the system.

Can I use the phone to make calls or send text messages?
No, the phone is dedicated to ultrasound imaging only. However, you can email patient exams directly from the phone.

Does your probe and software work with an iPhone or iPad?
No. However, we expect to have a version of our product that will work with Windows-based tablets. These will have a bigger screen and higher image resolution.

How do I get the MobiUS Viewer?
The Viewer is available as a free download from our website. We have versions for Windows XP, Vista and 7.

Can I optimize the image quality in the Viewer?
Yes. Since we preserve the raw data, the image quality can be later optimized in the Viewer with the same functionality available on the device.

Are there any training videos or manuals available?
Yes, these are available to our customers only.

What kind of warranty do you provide? Is there an extended warranty available?
Probes have a 1-year limited warranty. Please contact us for more details on the Extended Warranty.

What kinds of probes does your device support?
The device supports multiple probes for different clinical applications. 3.5MHz, 5.0MHz and 7.5MHz probes are currently supported.

Do you have the CE mark?
Not yet.

How do you ensure data security?

Data is encrypted on the device. If someone gives a wrong password more than a certain number of times, all data is destroyed. The data is also transmitted securely. If a user wishes to send data without encryption, all personal information, except images, is removed from images before transmission.

What are your return policies?
You can return the device for a full refund within 7 days of purchase if there is no visible or actual wear and tear on the device and the device is in good working condition. You just pay the return shipping.

How long does the battery last?
The device can operate for more than 60 continuous scanning minutes on a full charge. Larger batteries are available that provide up to 330 minutes of continuous operation.
